Campaign Payment Method: Increased Commission/Program Change
This campaign payment method would allow merchants to reward members who complete a campaign with an increased commission rate or upgraded program instead of a cash payment. (1) Increased commission (TEMPORARY) - with this, the member who completes the campaign would receive an increased commission on certain orders, or for a certain time period, as defined by the merchant. All other aspects of their program (discount rate, referral code rates, etc.) would remain the same. At the end of the defined program, the member's commission rate would automatically return to what it was previously. They would never leave the program they were originally in. (2) Upgraded program (PERMANENT) The merchant would define what the hierarchy of their programs are. For example, if they have 3 programs each with varying levels of commission (ex. 10% vs 15% vs 20%), they'd notate that the 20% commission is the top program, 15% is middle, and 10% is lowest. Once the hierarchy is set, whenever a member completes a campaign, they could be automatically upped to the next level campaign. So, if they were in the 10% commission program previously, they'd be upgraded to the 15%. Any other aspects of the new program that are different from their prior program, such as the discount rate or referral code rate, would change to the new program settings. The member would permanently stay in this new program until manually changed to a different program by the merchant.
