Currently, our affiliate links only function to apply the member's unique referral code at checkout automatically. The referral code (Shopify discount code) still must be used at checkout in order to attribute the sale to the correct member.
With UTM links, merchants will be able to track sales to the correct member without any need for the use of a referral code at checkout. This will allow merchants to still earn referrals from their members (and reward accordingly for them) without the customer needing to use a certain discount code.
